Our global surveys reveal a typical 30-point gap between how leaders rate themselves and how their teams rate them. We chalk this up to two factors: (1) Leaders are by nature optimistic, and (2) far too many leaders are out of touch with those they lead. Proceed with caution if you scored extremely high.
The assessment is built on insights from our two most recent global surveys with more than 10,000 participants. The questions are designed to reveal where your greatest opportunities lie—think of it as a diagnostic scan of your leadership hard drive.
We suggest you take this assessment every six months for the rest of your career. Regardless of your current scores, you can improve. You must start where you are, but you do not have to stay there.
